How many of you are playing?
Six ways to play, from a normal match to a 32-player night. Here is what each one is, and when to pick it.
Matsicano®
Our own format. Up to seven Americano rounds first, so everyone mixes, then Mexicano seeding: the table decides who plays whom and the finish gets serious.
Pick it when you want a social start and a competitive finish in one night.
Americano
A fixed rotation set before round one: a new partner and new opponents every round. With eight or fewer, you play with everyone.
Pick it when the night is about mixing and meeting everyone.
Mexicano
Pairings follow the table: after every round, top plays top and bottom plays bottom, so matches get closer as the night goes on.
Pick it when you want close, competitive matches all night.
Flex
Americano, Mexicano and Matsicano® for any number of players, odd ones too. Who sits out rotates fairly round by round.
Pick it when you are 5, 9 or 13, not a neat multiple of four.
Team formats
The same formats with fixed pairs: you keep your partner all night and the table ranks the teams.
Pick it when pairs arrive together and want to play as one.
A normal match
Point by point, 15, 30, 40: golden point, advantage or star point, best of 1, 3 or 5 sets, tiebreaks, and who serves next. Or type the result in afterwards.
Pick it when it is just the four of you and a court.
How the points work
In Americano, Mexicano and Matsicano® every round is a short match to a set number of points, usually 21. Every point your pair wins is yours: win 13 to 8 and you both score 13. The table adds up your points, so every rally counts, even in a round you lose.
How a night runs

The organiser adds the players, by name or from the members. Rounds, courts and partners are made for you.

Each court plays its round and enters the score, on the organiser’s phone or its own by QR.

The table updates live on every phone and the big screen, and the next round is ready.

At the end: a podium, and every result saved to the players’ stats and the season.
